My Fair Lady

Chichester Festival Theatre

I'm getting married in the morning, ding dong the bells are going to chime.......

Well, clearly, that's not me, but this was one of the songs in the Musical of My Fair Lady that we saw yesterday at the Chichester Festival Theatre.

43 members boarded the coach at various locations and we made our way to Chichester via the A259 due to hold ups on the A24 and we arrived just about on time to go into the Brasserie for our 2 course meal with wine/beer/soft drink followed by coffee/tea which everyone agreed was excellent with prompt service.

Onto the show and what a show it was. From start to finish there were wonderful performances from the cast who were:

Eliza Doolittle - Keziah Ibe

Henry Higgins - Hadley Fraser

Alfred P. Doolittle - Gary Milner

..to mention just three of the main characters. Also Mrs Pearce was played by Finty Williams who is Dame Judi Dench's daughter.

The songs came thick and fast with well known favourites such as  'The Rain in Spain', With a little bit of Luck' and 'Wouldn't it be Lovely' and many more.

After the show everyone said how much they had enjoyed the show..a big thumbs up..
